DHEA
A particular supplement, not to be afraid of and not very well known either.
DHEA is an important hormone, but its production declines sharply as we age. By the time you’re 70 your levels are more or less 80% lower than when you were 25 yrs old.
To restore the youthful hormonal ranges is important for numerous benefits:
Support healthy arterial function
Support blood flow (better endothelial health)
Better insulin sensitivity
Improve/stabilize a normal aging brain
Improve mood
Protect bone mineral density
Enhance the muscle mass and strenght in the elderly
Boost the immune system cells
Increased testosterone production
By using DHEA you can gain back your correct values. My personal hint though is to use its precursor: the pregnenolone hormone, which is better tapped by our bodies. I’m sure all the producers of DHEA are/should be also producers of the pregnenolone form.
You’ll discover on your own that some (old) doctors are a little bit reluctant to use it, based on safety concerns. On the contrary it’s not dangerous at all, while having instead thoroughly proven benefits in decades of use.

Melatonin
It’s cheap and extremely effective. You can take it half an hour / 1 hour before going to bed. It’s sold everywhere: no need of prescription. When you wake up in the morning you won’t feel dizzy, because is naturally produced by our organism.
The problem is that our body produce it less and less as we age, so we must compensate. No wonder there are around so many people with sleeping problems. Trust me on this, I use it myself.
Women will be particularly happy when using melatonin, because it contributes to increase bone density, therefore fighting osteopenia, so frequent in postmenopausal stage.
My personal hint is to be aware of this supplement sold at high prices: the active ingredient is extremely cheap. There’s no need to look for a “presumed” better quality. There are no differencies in quality standards, whereas only the quantity contained in the product may vary.
……Always humble,
Angiolino
